Refined tumescent liposuction‐curettage with pruning in small incisions for treatment of axillary bromhidrosis

Axillary bromhidrosis is a widespread social problem in our society. Various modalities have been developed for the destruction or removal of apocrine sweat glands to eliminate underarm odor. However, conventional surgical treatments often result high complication rate and frequent recurrence. In this study, we aimed evaluate effect refined tumescent liposuction-curettage with pruning small incisions as treatment axillary bromhidrosis. Between July 2013 April 2019, 110 patients (75 women 35 men) underwent pruning. The results eliminating odor were evaluated by both doctors rated very satisfied (excellent), (good), slightly (fair), not (poor). Postoperative complications, such dehiscence, infection, wound contracture, cyst, subcutaneous hydrops, hematoma, seroma, also evaluated. Preoperative postoperative histological examinations tissues performed two patients. subjective evaluation patients, 33 (30.0%) results, 70 (63.6%) satisfied, seven (6.4%) satisfied. objective showed that 43 (39.1%) graded excellent, whereas others good. No serious complications occurred, except three slight local hydrops hematoma. Histologic significantly decreased destroyed after surgery. Refined an effective method
